Simply Accounting, software generally used for accounting purposes seeing after cash flows, invoicing and billing of any function and of any organization. We can Import any Data Source to Simply Accounting.
Simply Accounting uses a wizard which enables us to import any Data Source to Simply Accounting comprising general journal entries or any other forms of accounting documentation from your accountant program such as a spreadsheet program.
Note that: Import any Data Source to Simply Accounting always refers to:
- We can only import transactions we made in general journal window.
- Transactions which affect the linked Accounts Receivable, Payroll Advances, Accounts Payable, Vacation Payable, or Inventory accounts can only be imported if they were created by your accountant using Simply Accounting Accountants' Edition and also requires an accountant’s copy of your company data.
- The file must be in text format.
Apart from some notes, we also required to see the formats while we Import any Data Source to Simply Accounting. The first line must include
- The date must be separated by hyphens (mm-dd-yy) and must be followed by a comma.
- The source of the transaction (usually a document number, such as a cheque or invoice number), must be enclosed in straight quotation marks.
While we Import any Data source to Simply Accounting, treat Tax header and detail lines are optional, but given a chance, if you use one, you must use the other
You can have as many detail lines as you need, but the amounts must balance to zero.
